You are considered an end-user of the online training service (”the Online Training Service”) and you are deemed to be the end-user of the Online Training Service and the terms of use (”Terms of Use”) govern your use of the Online Training Service.
By accepting the Terms of Use and/or using the Online Training Service, you accept and agree to comply with the Terms of Use for all uses of the Online Training Service.
The representative arranging your course/assessment (the “Instructor” or “Employer”) has purchased access to the Online Training Service from RTITB (“RTITB”).
RTITB reserves the right to change the Terms of Use from time to time. You will be informed of important changes in a timely manner prior to the implementation of any such changes. You are personally responsible for keeping yourself updated about any changes made to the Terms of Use and by your continued use of the Online Training Service are deemed to have accepted said changes to the Terms of Use, regardless of whether you have received relevant information or not.
By logging in to the Online Training Service you are agreeing to these Terms of Use. Please read the Terms of Use carefully before agreeing to them.
Use of the Online Training Service
The Online Training Service may only be used by such persons that have received login details for the Online Training Service and access to specific eLearning content from RTITB or their Instructor/Employer.
As the end-user, you are responsible for using the Online Training Service in a manner that does not conflict with applicable legislation or the Terms of Use. Neither you or any associates may duplicate, sell, lease, sub-license, assign/file-share, edit or in any other manner distribute or adapt the Online Training Service or the contents of the Service.
You may not violate, circumvent, remove or cause any changes to the technology and security systems used by RTITB or the hosting platform (TalentLMS/eFront) to protect the Online Training Service and its contents. Furthermore, you may not act in a manner that could lead to the Online Training Service being disabled, overloaded or damaged, or that could cause harm to the Instructor/Employer, RTITB or TalentLMS/eFront.
You are responsible for storing your login details for the Online Training Service in a safe and secure manner such that they cannot be used in an unauthorised way. You are therefore not allowed to share your login details with unauthorised persons.
RTITB are not responsible for third-party products installed in order to use the Service on your computer or mobile unit.
Legal Rights
All rights related to the eLearning content, including intellectual rights such as copyrights belong to RTITB, unless it is specifically stated that said rights belong to a third party. The Terms of Use may not be interpreted to infer that any rights pertaining to the Online Training Service have been transferred following your acceptance of the Terms of Use or the use of the Online Training Service.
Network Traffic
The Online Training Service may at times require heavy network traffic loads, and therefore we recommend that you use an Internet connection that allows unlimited network traffic.
Revocation
If you violate the Terms of Use or in any other way abuse your access to the Online Training Service, RTITB has the right to revoke your login credentials for the Online Training Service.
Service Operation
RTITB cannot guarantee full access to the Online Training Service at all times. The Online Training Service may, due to security, technical or maintenance reasons, occasionally limit access to, or interrupt access to RTITB eLearning. RTITB is not liable for any direct or indirect damage that you or other persons may suffer as a result of limited access to the Online
Training Service.
Internet Security and Liability Disclaimer
You are responsible for your use of the Online Training Service. RTITB is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages (including, but not limited to loss of data, service disruptions, mechanical malfunctions or financial losses) that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Online Training Service, or as a result of malfunctions or errors in the Online Training Service.
